Pirate Captain Cane (Jed Mills) is a Justice of the Peace and is authorized by The Commonwealth of Massachusetts to solemnize marriages anywhere in Massachusetts or upon its waters. He will preside at, and solemnize conventional Civil Marriage Ceremonies, or Pirate Theme Marriage Ceremonies.

Wedding Vows may be traditional, modern, or Pirate Theme, so long as the parties assent to a mutual agreement to take each other as party 1 and party 2. Jed Mills, as Justice of the Peace, will act i his official capacity in solemnizing the wedding ceremony. A valid Massachusetts wedding license is required.

Wedding ceremonies may be at any location in Massachusetts, aboard the Maverick in Marblehead Harbor, or aboard your vessel or your chartered vessel. It is not expensive to have a small, beautiful wedding ceremony at sea!

Fees:

In Marblehead: $75

In any other area of Massachusetts:  $125

An unofficial certificate of marriage or re-affirmation of vows, conventional or pirate theme, is included.

Charter of Maverick is $125 per hour (maximum of six persons in wedding party). Ceremonies may be held on the Maverick on its mooring and not underway, or we may sail to your favorite location.

Remember that there may be other costs, such as rehearsal, flowers, music, food and beverage, photographer, etc.

Weddings at Sea does not provide flowers, music, food and beverage, or photographer.
